John Kovacs Garage Co., Inc. at 754 State St is listed as a Packard dealership managed by J. F. Hines in 1939. Believed to sell both Packards and Hudsons at this location from at least 1935 through 1941.

One of the J. Kovacs Garage salesmen are mentioned on the last page of the Hudson Service Merchandiser Vol. 2 No. 1 from January 1950 as a campaign winner.

Interestingly, the Schenectady Gazette from July 10, 1951 advertises John Kovacs Garage taking on the Willys-Overland franchise at the 754 State St. location in 1951.
