History of the Murray Corporation

Russell Industrial Center

For the first time since the early 1930's, Hudson contracted an outside supplier, Murray Corp., to stamp the bodies of the Jet. Today this building is known as the Russell Industrial Center, an artist and small business haven.

Mark Theobald of Coachbuilt.com wrote an informative essay on the history of the Murray Corporation.

Visit detroit1701.org for a page on the history of the building.
