Chet Barnekow Garage during at least 1946-1951.
According to the Janesville Gazette, "Chet Barnekow, who did much to promote the growth of racing in the state of Wisconsin, died [in 1986 at the age of 83]. Barnekow was a familiar figure along pit row at the State Fair Park one-mile track in West Allis From 1930 to 1953, Barnekow was an official for the American Automobile Association, then the major racing sanctioning body in the U.S. When the AAA was replaced by the United States Auto Club, Barnekow served as an official with that organization."
This location would later house Ed Mazzoni Motors, Inc.
